I'm fresh off a baseball championship and probably not making the football playoffs, so figured I'd start on baseball 2013 now.
12 team keeper league Keep 4 hitters and 4 pitchers straight up and draft from the rest Roster: C, 1B, 2B, 3B, SS, 4OF, UTIL, 7 P
Here's what I'm picking from:
Hitters Miguel Cabrera 3B Carlos Gonzalez OF Adrian Gonzalez 1B,OF Jason Kipnis 2B Evan Longoria 3B Michael Morse OF Paul Goldschmidt 1B
Pitchers Cliff Lee Clayton Kershaw Justin Verlander Tommy Hanson Huroki Kuroda
Miggy, CarGo, Kershaw, and Verlander are locks. I'm leaning toward Kipnis at 2B because he was good enough and its such a weak position. Would you package Longoria with Hanson/Kuroda to upgrade at SP and maybe keep a 1B?

Any advice is appreciated!
You're overthinking this. You keep the biggest, proven bats, and the best arms, period. Only question is between Hanson and Kuroda. Hanson has the slight edge, although I don't like either. Tommy just has better chance of getting a big season.
First 7 are easy, Hanson vs. Kuroda is tough. I'd rather have Kuroda with the wins seemingly in his back pocket and he also appears to be unfazed by pitching in New York. Hanson has talent but never seems to put together a good full season.
Yeah, upon further review, I am changing my choice from Hanson to Kuroda. I'm a Braves fan, and I still think Hanson is no better than an inconsistent #3.

When it comes to exaggerating, I always give 110%.
