Deep dynasty league, 1 opening

One member of a long-standing dynasty league is leaving for personal reasons. The team is in very good shape and finished 4th last year; you would be inheriting a competitive team.

League details: Dynasty format, H2H, free Yahoo league. 16 teams with 30 man MLB rosters and a 30 man minors roster. 6x6 scoring with OPS and Holds as the extra categories.

You should have a working knowledge of prospects that's deep and continuing - with 16 teams and 30 man minors rosters, there can be close to 500 prospects owned; knowing your team's top 10 and the top 25 overall will not cut it. Managers in this league are expected to be very active, setting lineups daily, actively managing their team. It's a year-round league with offseason trading and an 8-round minors draft. You don't have to be an expert, but you're expected to be very active and do your research. It's a fun league with managers doing on their own volition, draft analysis and commentary and pre-season team power rankings. It's a competitive but very good-natured environment.

If you're looking for a league where you can truly build your team from the ground up, this is it. Just know that you'll be expected to be active and that it's a year-round league.

I am extremely interested in partaking in this fantasy baseball draft. I am a life-long baseball fan, with an extensive knowledge of the national league and a fairly decent amount of knowledge of American league teams.
