If I recall, the same thing happened last year after his broken hamate bone. It sapped his power for awhile and when he turned it on at the end of the year when he fully recovered. Good thing for next year I'd that he doesn't have any hamate bones left.
Great postseason for the Fat Panda, but it changes nothing for 2013 value. His injury questions are what hold him back, his talent isn't really in question. He's easily top 100, further than that is just about how much you feel like trusting him to be healthy.

His last three injuries have been broken hamate bones and a hamstring strain. He has no hamate bones left to break and the hamstring strain came making a stretch playing first base where I really doubt he'll see any time next year. I think he could come at a discount next year after the injuries and subsequent power outage next year and I don't think he's all that risky of a pick.

I have him ranked around 75th overall looking ahead. Theres like 7 or 8 3B I would pick before him.

Haven't done any rankings yet, but just eyeballing it I'd probably go:
MCab Beltre Headley Zimmerman Wright Ramirez Hanley Pablo
So ya, I'd agree with that. I do think there isn't a huge difference between the group of 3B after Beltre which means I'll probably be aiming for whichever one of those players falls the furthest which I assume will be Pablo. Lawrie will probably end up somewhere in that tier as well.

Headley? Hmmm, I haven't looked into it too much yet but I don't think I'm touching that guy...

I think it's more to do with not really trusting anyone after the top 2 than being super high on headley.

Haven't seen it mentioned around here yet, but they are bringing in the fences about 10 feet at PETCO.
