Bryce Harper for Adam Jones and...

Should I take a deal of Harper(4.1) for Adam Jones(8) and possibly BJ Upton(7.1) or Jay Bruce(12.8). The team wants jones and upton, am i giving to much for bruce? should i counter with jones and bruce, or stay with what i have.

In a 14 team auctions and rotisserie keeper league....100 budget....that requieres you to have:
2 catchers, 1 of each 1st, 2nd, 3rd, SS, CI, and MI, 4 OF, 2 UT(any position), 5 SP, 3 RP, 2 Swingmen (any pitcher)

I would be fine with that deal. How much do player cost go up each year or how much will Harper cost you to keep next year and the year after?

I would probably move Jay Bruce over Upton only because Bruce is getting to be expensive.

All players go up $2 in value from year to year and you can keep them for as long as you want. The team that offred me that deal has also offered me Machado at 2.1 plus Harper at 4.1 for all three Bruce, Upton and Jones. Is Machado worth it. Im not sure he will even stay in the bigs for next season.

I kinda like that second deal more. It hurts you short term, but sets you up incredibly well for the future with just that $2 increase.

If I made the first deal, I'd also rather move Bruce, but I really like Jones, and probably wouldn't do the deal at all.
