Big Keeper Offer Involving Braun - WHIR

I have finished 2nd the past 2 years in a keeper league. I have very good minor league and am relatively young overall. I've told myself I'm not making any major changes in the offseason. However, I have been offered a monster trade. You can keep a player forever with no consequences. We keep 24 players overall.

I have been offered: Stanton, Goldschmidt, and C. Sale

I give up: Braun

The other catch is that this is the 1st place team the last 2 years. I obviously would like to keep Braun, but is this offer too good to pass up??

No deal. Braun is way too good to trade him for three ok but not great players. Jury is still out on what Stanton will become. Monster HR numbers but everything else is just good. Still not sure if he becomes a Adam Dunn type or he can do better than that. Sale too many injury concerns and Goldschmidt is a lesser version of Stanton with good power but just ok every where else.

Hold onto Braun. As explained above, you should be looking for 2 elite players. I traded Adam Jones and Gio for Braun in a keeper league midseason but surely his stock is even higher now.

Keep Braun. He's just trying to blind you with Goldschmidt and Sale, in the hopes that you'll forget what a hard time Stanton has staying on the field. Braun is as steady as they come. You don't give him up for anyone not named MCab or Trout, and even then, you think long and hard about it.

To deal a player like Braun you need to get two players in the Hamilton/Cano/McCutchen range. That is especially true when you get to hold a player for as long as you want.

Boy, if I could get Cano AND McCutchen for Braun, I absolutely would. But that is about what it would take.

Sale is enticing, but he's baiting the hook here. Don't take the deal.
