Price and Castro for Heyward, Andrus and Samardzija

Postby prguy1979 » Sat Oct 13, 2012 5:11 pm

Would you trade Price(8.1) and Castro(6.1) for his Jason Heyward(8.2), Elvis Andrus(8.3) and Samardzija(2.1). Below are league set up and my keeper worthy players along with price tags. The team trading with me also has Clayton Kershaw at 10.5.

In a 14 team auctions and rotisserie keeper league....100 budget....that requieres you to have:
2 catchers, 1 of each 1st, 2nd, 3rd, SS, CI, and MI, 4 OF, 2 UT(any position), 5 SP, 3 RP, 2 Swingmen (any pitcher)

categories are:

BA, BB, R, RBI, SB, SLG, ERA, HD(Holds), K, S, W, WHIP
My Keeper worthy players are...

M. Montero(8.2), M. Napoli(7.0), M. Trout(2.10), Pablo Sandoval(8.1), J. Rollins(7.3), S. Castro(6.1), P. Fielder(16.2), J. Bruce(12.8),D. Wright(11.6), David Murphy(2.3), BJ Upton(7.1), D. Price(8.1), C. Sale(5.0), J. Nathan(4.10), M. adams(3.9)

Andrus seems pricey and should be less valuable in your format (+SLG%). I like Heyward, but you could be giving up the best two players in the deal. No thanks!

Agreed.

Castro had a bit of a down year, but it'd be tough not to on that team. He's still the 2nd best value in this deal, with Price being the first. No deal.
