That being said...
- Fantasy Sports are not poker. I think that much of the drama/conflict is around games of skill vs. games of chance. Poker undoubtedly retains an element of chance. Fantasy Sports is a more interesting discussion.
- States have different laws/opinions/definitions/etc. etc. We only offer Pro Leagues in a subset of states, because it was deemed that in some states we couldn't safely offer them. The set of states is not consistent across different providers. I don't work for the other providers, and I'm not a lawyer; all we know is what our lawyers told us we could and could not do.
- Also, I am not a lawyer
