AL only keeper

I just took over an AL only team. This past year was my first year playing fantasy baseball. I played in a mixed roto . This new league is a auction league.Some good keepers and some others I'm not sure what to do. We can keep up to 8 players.

Dunn 22.00
D. Wise 3.00
Rajai Davis 17.00
Erick Aybar 15.00
We have a 260.00 budget. Roster size is 23 players. 12 teams.

I would probably keep Dunn and Aybar. Probably not Wise unless someone knows something that I don't.

I'm thinking the same thing. Dunn bounced back in a big way with 41 hrs and 96 rbi. I also think at 22 hes somewhat of a bargain in AL only. The average should come up to more career like .260 or so. Aybar doesn't hit for power but a good average and good steals from a tough position. And I do have Trout for 5.00. he was drafted as a minor leaguer. A couple of good hitters will balance alow average guy like Dunn.
Anybody have any thoughts ?But as I said I have never played in a auction league and AL only.

I don't expect Dunn's average to improve much at all. At $22 in an AL only league he seems worth the price tag if you are in need of the power. I'd try to trade him personally because of his obvious handicaps. Tell everyone that you would like an IF/SP in return. Best offer gets him.

I agree with keeping Aybar as well. Unspectacular, but solid enough. Hopefully the speed comes back next season.

Yea I'd much rather try and move Dunn, but keeping him for $22 in an AL seems reasonable. Aybar is solid, but $15 isn't cheap, so depending on what else you keep, I wouldn't lock him in for sure unless you have a lot of budget still available.
