Who Should I Keep??? Will Help In Return!!!

Postby Metropolitans » Wed Oct 10, 2012 12:37 am

Which 5 should I keep? 5x5 scoring plus Hits, OPS and Losses, K/9...

Players I'm already Keeping:
Hanley Ramirez
Mike Trout
Stephen Strasburg

Players I'm thinking of Keeping and their Projected Cost (projected round that I'll lose if players kept):

Pick 2:

Jake Peavy (btwn 12-14th Rd)
-Peavy had a solid year and he could repeat this performance as long as he's healthy

Anthony Rizzo (btwn 15-17th Rd)
-I like Rizzos power upside and if his power continues to develop, I could have a top 5 rounder in the teens

Brett Anderson (btwn 18-20th Rd)
-this is an upside keeper, Anderson was once highly touted as one of Oaklands next big SPs n then injuries derailed him. He was lights out for a stretch but health is a concern

Josh Willingham (btwn 11-13th Rd)
-not sure if he has any upside but his power numbers are undeniable.

Chase Utley (btwn 6-8th Rd)
-came back very healthy and could give me top 2 second baseman numbers at a big discount

My preference would be Rizzo, Peavy, Anderson as my top tier, Utley next and Josh last but I doubt I'd keep both Peavy and Anderson... Whatya think???

Anderson and Rizzo. Both have the most upside and both have the cheaper price tags.

Rizzo and Anderson. Peavy is borderline for me.

Slim pickings, but I'm going to go with the big upside of Anderson's arm and Rizzo's bat. Lean heavier to offense than SP in keepers.

In case the consensus didn't overwhelm you enough, Rizzo/Anderson is definitely the way to go.
