I am in a 9 team ROTO league with standard scoring (R, HR, RBI, SB, AVG / W, SV, K, ERA, WHIP)
Can only keep 4 players No other rules or guidelines with this league (The draft was a 2 sport draft (NFL & MLB, so while I focused hard on baseball, others went football...and a handful of trades were made)
C- Yadier Molina 1B- Prince Fielder 2B- Jason Kipnis 3B- Chase Headley SS- Ian Desmond OF- Justin Upton OF- Adam Jones OF- Desmond Jennings Util- Joey Votto BN- Rickie Weeks BN- Carlos González BN- Jacoby Ellsbury BN- Elvis Andrus DL- Troy Tulowitzki
SP- Kris Medlen SP- Jered Weaver RP- Jonathan Papelbon RP- John Axford P- Chris Pérez P- Tyler Clippard P- Grant Balfour BN- Clayton Kershaw
Just can't decide on which direction to go with the 4.. 2 quality keeper SPs 2 quality keeper 1Bs 2 quality keeper SS (DL stint may have made this an easy decision) and a couple legit OF options.
Thanks guys..those 4 were certainly at the top of my list.
Kind of surprised Weaver didn't get into your "in the discussion group" With Kershaws injured hip, is there any justification to swapping the 2 pitchers out, or forgo pitching all together & hit it early in the draft?

These 4. Tulo in the conversation, but I think I'd take these guys and run if it were me
You kind of can't go wrong, right? I could see replacing Kershaw with Tulo though. Clayton has his own health concerns now and he's a pitcher (duh!). Tulo is just on a completely different level when speaking of short stops. I would feel much more comfortable attempting to replace someone like Kershaw throughout the draft rather than Tulo. There isn't a combination of SS options alive that can provide his type of production.
Fielder, Tulo, CarGo & Votto for me. You could sub in Kershaw for either Fielder or Tulo and I would be ok with that also. J-Up, Jones & Weaver are not quite on the same level as the top 5, IMO though.
