Thank you. I can only keep 8, sorry if my post was a little confusing. Without going too much deeper into the keeper rules, 3 of the players will have to be Rizzo, Goldschmidt, Rutledge, Altuve, etc because their salaries have been doubled.
I personally have been leaning towards
1B Rizzo 2 1B Goldschmidt 4 SS Rutledge 2
C Molina 6 OF Heyward 10 OF Bruce 18 3B Lawrie 8 P Cain 22
Updated my list. I removed Howard and Frazier. You already have some good 1B options and Frazier shouldn't cost too much next season unless he has a Freese-like post season. I wouldn't keep Cain at that cost. Often time it's not worth paying a premium on pitching. Cain has had a career season & it wouldn't shock me to see him come back down to his career norms. I'd rather take the $6 gamble on Medlen. I'd definitely pay the $6 to find out if he is for real or not.
Your list of 8 seems about right. I wouldn't worry too much about Medlen. I don't think he'll produce like he is right now for a full season. He's due for some regression. Of your keepers, I like Bruce the least (never been a big fan, too many K's, low avg makes me nervous). He's a good player, but also one of your most expensive.

I like Cain and Wainwright too much to pass on them. They might be a little higher priced then I normally like to go but I think they are top 10 SP and still priced cheaper than I think they will go next year at auction. Not sold on keeping Rizzo so i would have no problem taking Rutledge instead.

Last spot comes down to Molina, Cain, Bruce... I think that comes down to a personal preference on if you'd want to keep a C and if you feel comfortable only keeping 1 SP. I'd lean towards Cain personally.
