I am in the playoffs in a H2H points league where we have a maximum starts per week limit. I made my spot-start moves for the week, but there is a minor logjam. I can only use two of the following 3 starts:
Alex Cobb vs. Red Sox (Monday)
Alex Cobb vs Blue Jays (Saturday)
Ivan Nova vs A's (Friday)
Which start should I NOT use?

New poster here but not new to Fantasy baseball. I would not use Nova. I know he just came off a great start vs. TB but he normally gets lit up in Yankee Stadium. Just seems a little risky, imo. Cobb has pitched well at home and has had success vs. the Jays and Red Sox this season, so I like both his match-ups this week.

Hmmmm... I'd actually start all of those pitchers. If I had to pick one though, I'd be Nova.

Interesting, thanks. For what it's worth, I also have Tommy Hanson (Fri vs Phillies) and Chris Carpenter (Fri @ Cubs) as fringe SP's too.

I'd actually boot Hanson over Nova. Hanson has been struggling and can't seem to ever make it past 5-6 IP. I would take my shot with Nova vs. A's over him.
