C - Ryan Doumit
1B - Joey Votto
2B - Aaron Hill
3B - Evan Longoria
SS - Starlin Castro
OF - Giancarlo Stanton
OF - Jacoby Ellsbury
OF - Bryce Harper
UT - Paul Goldschmidt/Austin Jackson
Keep: Votto, Longo, Ellsbury, Stanton andddddddd............
No pitchers worth considering. I can keep five guys for next season and will have them for two more seasons (keep six after next year). I'm really torn between Castro and Harper. They have both been very hot and cold. I realize shortstop is tougher to fill, but the way Harper is finishing this year is tempting me. I will also have the second pick in the re-draft, in which it's possible I could pick the one I don't keep up. But I kind of need to draft starting pitching early considering I'm not keeping any.
Thoughts?

It's not a permanent keeper. Just for the next two seasons. If that changes anything.

Ells is a hard cut but I'd rather have Castro or Harper going forward.
I agree with this. Ellsbury is extremely injury prone to boot. Ellbury is a player that I would feel more comfortable with on someone else's roster. If you can't package him with someone for an upgrade just cut bait.

I guess I'd never really thought about it. I guess I'm still thinking about Ellsbury's 2011 Season where he nearly carried me to a championship.

He's poisoned your mind. Not a chance he ever comes close to that again. IF he were to stay healthy for 140+ games I could see him getting to 20/35 again. With the guy that this guy plays he is always dinged up.

I agree, Ellsbury, and OF in particular, is a position that can be filled alot easier than SS. Not to mention that his evaluation is believed for some reason to be higher than it actually is.
Id rather keep both Castro and Harper over Ellsbury. Good luck

keep castro for sure. Its not just the SS thing its the talent thing also. Personally, him and Andrus are my top two SS in keeper leagues.
