Good afternoon ladies and gentlemen, it's that time of year Time for the fantasy playoffs to begin in many leagues.
BJ Upton - This guy has been on an absolute TEAR lately, supplying my team with half its home runs the last two weeks, and that was even before his monstrous three home day yesterday. This guy is one of my favorite fantasy players because, as he is used in various positions in the offense, his only real downside is a BA that will hover around .250 but otherwise I can't say enough about how I love his contribution to my team.
Trout - just broke the Angels record for leadoff homers in a season. And then in the very same game, robs Prince Fielder of a home run. I'm starting to believe that this guy may be the best player in the next decade, does he even have a weakness for Christ's sake?
"Grand"erson - I'm feeling grand I had to work early yesterday and didn't get to my lineup in time to bench him. I'll take that grand salami please, thank you
B.J. was one of my favorite value picks going into this year. Glad to see him heating up at the right time.

I really hate bye weeks in H2H. With no meaningful games in my money league I got bored so I plopped $20 on SD/COL/OAK to win and another $20 on CLE/MIA. I like grouping the underdogs, even if parlays are sucker bets, it's fun to do once or twice a year. Today seemed like a good day to buy a scratch ticket.

Its nice to see my team hitting the cover off the ball while I'm on a bye. Which means they will do squat next week, at least that's how FF playoffs go when I'm the #1 seed

I had a BYE last week and my team hit 19 homers, my highest of any week this year. It was depressing to watch, of course now they are all cold.
My parlay of SD/COL/OAK hit 2 of 3 and COL lost 9-8. Just missed a buttload of money on that one.
No more betting but I'm starting to worry about the health of my roster as it goes thru a bye week. I dropped Podsednik for Carlos Gomez, who got hurt last night, not sure how badly. Carlos Beltran is broken and I'm not waiting for him to get fixed, Adam Eaton gets to fill his spot. Sale hasn't looked very good lately, Mauer is out with back spasms and Kenley Jansen is still on my roster. I have 1 add/drop to use before Monday and a lot of question marks and players performing badly. Bumgarner needs to get out of whatever funk he's in and Fiers has come down to earth, Aviles is a useless POS right now and no one useful is on the WW. I just dropped Sandoval for pitching depth, and my only holds guy (Grilli) has 2 holds in the past month, and has been shelled in 3 straight outings, tagging me with 2 losses in a league that counts them. Welcome to the team and the fantasy playoffs Pat Neshek! This is why I hate H2H it seems like every year when it really matters everyone on my team slumps at the same time. I'm very nervous going into next week with this team.
