Ok so the max acquisition limit for my league was set at 60 player adds. I used up my last few player adds last week which was the final week of the season. I woke up this morning to find out that my team is #2 in the playoffs and I have a first round bye. With that being said I wont have to face another team until next week. So I am not sure if the bye has anything to do with it but I cant add anyone.... I honestly thought the max acquisition limit was set for the season ONLY and would not carry into the postseason? Can someone give me good news? If i honestly cant stream pitchers in playoffs It might be all over for my team. Please help guys will greatly appreciate it.

It is my belief that the acquisition limit is for the entirety of your league's season, not just the H2H Regular Season. There's no reason to believe otherwise. How many would you think you'd get for the Playoffs? Your league should investigate using a weekly limit for H2H instead of a yearly limit, to prevent streaming.
So if i made 1 less move and stopped at 59 I could still be streaming now? or does the 60 Carry into the playoffs as well? LAst year i didnt reach the player limit and was the last seed to make playoffs and streamed everyone and went on to win the league... Was an incredible finish haha my team came from nowhere. But is above part right ?

had you stopped at 59, you would have 1 Add for the entire playoffs. As someone else pointed out, the entire purpose of transaction limits is to prevent streaming, so what you did last year was not incredible, nor did you come from no where. If your league is smart, next season they'll institute a weekly limit or 2 or 3 to really lock down on the silliness and make it worth everyone's time.

Until the Yahoo! stat correction process comes in and makes it not worth everyone's time again! Just kidding.
Ya I completely agree though, 3 or 4 moves max per week is more than enough. Otherwise it basically makes a farce out of things. In a Cafe league that J35J runs, he's set it for 50 moves max on the year, with also a 4 per week max. Seems to work really well.
It's probably better to just set an innings minimum and turn the pitching categories into Ratio based categories to prevent streaming. Such as K/IP instead of K's.

Maris, when Yahoo finally fixes the stat correction issue, I think we'll all have you to thank. You truly are a one man crusader...

Can't tell if you're trying to be sarcastic and insulting or sincere. It's why I stopped bringing it up around here (until today when Bloody Sox voiced his own frustration with the process). I've given up on it honestly. Just joke around about it now.
Nobody truly understands how frustrating it is until they've actually been burned by it. Definitely no fun to put a ton of time and effort into something for 6+ months only to have a mistake end your season. I feel bad for Bloody Sox, as I know from playing in leagues with him that he's a very serious and skilled fantasy player.
IF they every fix it, it will make it a better and more fair game. Can't be a bad thing.
