better 2013 keeper? greinke or cueto???

h2h points weekly league ...10 team

pitchers seem to win this league
what i mean by that is having more good pitchers gives you more options in terms of better 2 start pitchers in a week
still i think that is the flaw in h2h points leagues but you must learn to play it how it is

i have a few starting pitcher keeper options.
and also have to decide on whether to keep a closer or not(kimbrel)

but probably the bigger decision i currently will have to make is cueto or greinke
cueto i feel is under-rated, but greinke may be underperforming
currently in points as of today..both have 28 starts on the year
cueto has racked up 597 points, greinke has 499 points
quality starts cueto has 20 to greinkes 16
cueto has a better era, more wins, and goes deeper in games
but he also plays on a worse team and has less strikeouts per 9
cueto is a top ten starting pitcher for a good part of the season(currently 8)
cueto is 26, greinke is 29.... no limit to how long you can keep for
and by the way each team will be keeping 8 this year(down from 10 last year)

Don't keep a closer, I would never keep a closer. Plus there's only 10 teams in this league, so there's going to be closers of pretty good value available in the draft.

I think if you can you should keep both Greinke and Cueto. Don't lose one of them because you kept a closer. If I had to only go with one, I'll roll with Cueto next season, but I would wait and see where Greinke ends up you know since he's a FA this off season.

I would be fine keeping Kimbrel over either of those two to be honest, but it really depends on the scoring for closers. If your two starters are out performing Kimbrel in points than why not dump him & keep both guys? To you original question however, I do prefer Grienke to Cueto as a pitcher .... especially since he is a pending Free Agent. I can't not seeing him test the waters since he has come this far already. Unless he ends up in Coors or something I would feel safe taking him ahead of Cueto.

well im already keeping strasburg and bumgarner
currently kimbrel is the 3rd highest scoring in closers
scores are...591..576...496...476...475...433...etc
i could stack my starters and keep 4
i could go 3 sp and 1rp
i could keep all 5

i planned on keeping 4 hitters and 4 pitchers..
my hittters are
braun *keeping
pence *prob not
butler *most likely
hosmer *debating
profar *really want to keep
ortiz *dunno but he was leading league in points when playing
