Trade was vetoed in the league, new trade proposed, thoughts

This trade was proposed and vetoed in our league, yahoo league, just wanted to get some thoughts on whether you think it should have been vetoed or not. The second is another trade sent and accepted, seeing what your thoughts on this one is too.

10-Team H2H League, not a keeper league, 10 batting and 10 pitching categories. If there is any other information you would like to know, just ask.

Neither trade should be vetoed. Alcedies is underrated by just about everyone and he fills SS.

I assume that you're giving Escobar and getting Scherzer & Burnett, right? Does the whole league vote? It depends on need, but I would think that the 2nd is closer to passing.

Yeah both trades were shot down, the other person was trying to get some help in the hitting categories with the second trade, as garrett jones has been hitting well, and wanted the steals and and average from escobar, plus the position and our league has hold so they were trying to secure those categories as they were already ahead in rbi, hr, and obp, ops,and then they were going to use their 6 add drops for the week on pitchers that got 2 starts that week since the dumbass the set up the league basically made it 10 hitting categories and 8 pitching categories, basically 7 as complete games and shutouts don't necessairly happen weekely, and most people tend to go after saves or holds, but the people making a stink about it in the league are both too stupid to figure it out, but oh well, I am 30 games up on both of them so I hope I see them in the playoffs, so I can kick their butts and then rub it in their face. Sorry, I am more than a little pissed because they do this all the time if it doesn't benefit them but when they do it to someone else its ok for some reason, haha kinda venting too but I will stop now. Thanks for the opinions everyone.
