Arlington, TX (Sports Network) - The Texas Rangers have placed outfielder Brian Jordan on the 15-day disabled list due to a sprained medial collateral ligament in his left knee. The move is retroactive to March 27.
Jordan caught a spike in the batter's box during a spring training game against Oakland on March 24. The 37-year-old hit .299 in 66 games for the Dodgers last season.
Jordan joins relief pitchers Brian Shouse and Jeff Zimmerman on the DL to start the season.
