Pedro Alvarez post Break: .287/.381/.535/.906 157ab 11hr
Mike Trout's slash lines in the second half are better than his first half (except average is down 13 points), and he's scored 50 runs in 46 games, which translates to 176 runs over 162 games played.
Tommy Layne is putting up good numbers, 14k, 1bb, 2h in 8.2ip. Good pickup for leagues with holds.
Justin Ruggiano gets no love. He's playing full time, and in 219ab he's hitting .324 with 13 home runs and 11 steals.
Kris Medlen/Mike Fiers/Wade Myley are leading me into the playoffs. Matt Harvey is another unexpeced ace. Brett Anderson looks promising going forward.
I'm bandwagoning the A's, Pirates, Orioles and Giants (Cuz I hate the Dodgers) And I hope the Red Sox go 0-for-September.

Detwiler at home
Dunno why he hasn't been going 6 innings and don't trust him enough to do it tomorrow. Going with Sanchez. Massive favorite, best chance for the QS/W combo.
The good news is, a better than average day just pushed me back into first place with a 9-1 week after 3-5 a couple days ago. The bad news is, Stras, Sale and Fiers have been leading my pitching staff only to be shut down right around the first round of playoffs
Such a crazy last week before playoffs in my H2H. First H2H league I've played in awhile and I see how entertaining they can be.
Going into the week first place was crushing everyone
2nd place: 104-73 3rd place: 103-75 (1.5 games back of 2nd) <--- this is me 4th place: 104-80 (3.5 games back of 2nd) <--- faced him this week 5th place: 100-77 (4 games back of 2nd)
Four teams make the playoffs so one of us was gonna get the boot, though it seemed pretty unlikely it would be the guy in second place considering two of the teams behind him were playing each other.
My pitchers started off the week terribly and I fell into a pretty big hole. Made a few spot starts (we get 3 pick ups per week) and managed to take Ks. Ended up going 4-6 which put me into a tie with the guy behind me, but I beat him 7-3 in our first match up so I have the tie-breaker.
Guy in 5th place goes 7-3 which jumps him over both me and the guy I played. Then the guy in second goes 2-8 which barely drops him below all three of us and he's out of of the playoffs. He ended up one game back of 2nd place and a half a game back of 3rd and 4th place. All four of us separated by 1 game, crazy close finish.

Would've been quite content with Sanchez had Fiers not effed me
