Haren is making his final start for my team tonight if he decides to remain horrific. Hopefully if he bites the pillow I can pick up a solid starter or reliever who will pick up a save here and there.

I'm up by 13 runs, 30 hits, 8 home runs, 22 rbi, 150 ba and 400 ops going into the final two days this week so I'm benching all my hitters with hopes to pass him in errors and k's against! Even with all this I'm only up 9-8, he's up by 1 win, 1 loss, 1 save, 1 hold, and 2 walks against. Pitching is driving me insane this week to say the least. It's his Hamels and Travis Wood against my Sale and Estrada. We're both fighting for a playoff birth. H2H is starting to get exciting as roto kind of winds down for most teams.

Does anyone have any comments about Skaggs after 3 starts?

He's throwing more strikes than balls and got a lot of swinging strikes in his first two games. Fangraphs has him with a 90mph FB, 74mph CB and an occasional 77 mph change. Will he continue to be able to K MLB hitters? Or is it more likely that he has an avg'ish K rate (around 7 K/9) and is stingy with BB's?
