Brett Anderson for Lincecum - keeper league

I've been offered Lincecum for my Brett Anderson. I currently have a solid SP lineup. Both players seem risky to me, but Lincecum has the resume obviously.

Any advice would be appreciated, thanks.

I think that I would prefer Anderson actually. Both are risky in their own way, but without Lincecum's fastball he's nothing. There are too many moving parts in his mechanics for it to be easily corrected, IMO. Anderson is a safe pick for at least SP3 numbers next year.

Are you planning on keeping Tim? Tough call. I would probably hold on to Tim, but I think Anderson might actually be better if he stays healthy.

I'd rather gamble on Lincecum coming back stronger next season rather than trusting Anderson's health.

I also see it as a gamble - Lincecum's risk of not returning to form (or anything near it) and B.Anderson getting hurt AGAIN.

It's a real tough one... but I tentatively say Lincecum out of speculation he is motivated to make a comeback. Also, his name may allow you to peddle him next season if he has a good start or two.
