Is this trade fair?

Postby zifnab316 » Mon Aug 27, 2012 10:54 am

I was just offered his Jay Bruce and Edwin Jackson for my Paul Maholm and Jordan Zimmereman.

I could use both, just not sure if giving up Maholm is too much.

My team right now looks like:

C: MCKenry
1B: Cabrea
2: Infante
3B Wright
SS: Escobar
OF:Rios, Fowler, Soriano
DH: Beltre
Bench: Ike Davis, Tejada

SP: Maholm, Shields, T. Hudson, Dickey, Vargas, Morrow
RP: Clippard

It's a pretty fair trade. Edwin Jackson isn't too bad. You might need to replace Fowler if his injury doesn't improve soon. Jay Bruce is huge.

Maholm had a good run, but that's all it was. He's not that good of a pitcher. Here is how I see it:

Bruce > Zimmermann
EJax >> Maholm
