Drop Altuve or Scutaro? FA: Murphy and Pagán.

Preparing my roster for playoffs.

I need a backup OF and have to drop a player. I am leaning with David Murphy (Tex - OF) but would love to get Ángel Pagán (SF - OF) also.

Decided the drop would be Altuve or Scutaro. Both players numbers are close this year. But Scutaoro has looked better in the stretch so far.

Scutaro has that multiposition thats useful during playoffs when other players have and off day or are not starting. Scutaro is rolling as well as his team SF. He has more ABs this year than Altuve. His TB have been much better than Altuve and that's one of the important indicators in this type of settings/categories we have.

A hit counts hits x5. H, 1b/2b/3b, TB, AVG, OPS. SB once.

They're close enough since I also like Scutaro's eligibility, maybe I should hold him?

Victorino is streaky and has been bad since the trade. Do I play it safe roll with him and hope I get lucky? I thought of dropping him. He will get benched when I get another OF.

Suggestions please. I need to make the best decision. We only get 3 moves per week.

While I think Altuve is a better pure hitter than Scutaro, I'd keep Scutaro due to his eligibility and the extra cats in your league. Drop Altuve for Pagan.

Hmm..go with Pagan and not Murphy? Why?

Also, I could drop Victorino for Murphy and/or Pagan?

I have a feeling I won't be playing Victo from here on end. He will ride the pine. Or might be reason for a drop since I have one week left then playoffs....

Of course we need to go in the playoffs with guys who are producing. If you fall hard and fast in this type of league with those 25 categories, good luck winning. It's one and done in this league.

Victorino was scratched from Saturday's lineup with back tightness, the Dodgers' official Twitter reports.

Victorino suffered the back injury in Friday's ballgame and was listed in the initial lineup before ultimately being removed. He could receive Sunday off but should return to the lineup early next week at the latest. (Rotowire.com)

Victorino apparently agitated his hip and back in Friday's game. Juan Rivera will take his place in the Dodgers' outfield and will hit seventh in the Dodgers' lineup. (Rotoworld.com)
