Bailey gets a 4 out save last night after Aceves imploded Thursday. I have a sense Valentine wants a chance to audition Bailey for next year in the closer's job.
Currently have Papelbon and Soriano as my other closers.
Anyone read or hear anything I have not about the plan for saves in Boston?

The logic here makes sense. Anyway you can drop someone other than Aceves and use the wait and see approach?

I will do that tomorrow if I don't need to stream one more pitcher. If no one picks him up by then, I could just do it Sunday too. I have 3 two start pitchers on my roster so that should make it possible to lose a starter spot. Hopefully, there is a save chance tonight to see what Valentine chooses to do. That's if he doesn't trade away the whole team.

Dropped Corbin for Bailey once I heard Aceves was suspended. Still no confirmation as to who the closer is going forward.

My guess is that the Red Sox didn't trade away Reddick for Bailey so that he could set up Acevas. My money is on Bailey.

I currently have them both. Hoping to get an answer by way of save situation tonight. Need to drop one of them to pick up a pitcher for next week's first round playoff.
I'm leaning towards Bailey in light of the past few day's events with Aceves.
