I am in a 12-team H2H Keeper. 4 players are kept for their corresponding draft picks. Team A is in 3rd place and is basically stacked. Team B is in 11th place and nowhere in playoff contention. The playoffs start in 2.5 weeks.
It doesn't look like that great of a deal for team B I agree, but I don't think it's veto worthy. He is getting the best closer in the game, but he is giving up Heyward... the draft picks is probably the worst part of the trade, but I don't think the guy is dumping or anything. It's hard for me to vote for a veto ever, but especially when there isn't a top 10 player in the deal.
I just had a deal go down in my 12-team keeper league that was Cole Hamels, Nelson Cruz, Robinson Cano, and James Shields for Mike Trout. I couldn't believe it. But it was allowed to go through. Now THAT deal should have been vetoed.
I rarely vote to veto a trade unless it is obviously dumping. I would not veto this one. Just because something is a bad trade does not mean that it should be vetoed.

That is crazy. Cano for Trout alone should be fair, although I still rather have Cano. Trout SUCKED last season and the first month but has been on fire ever since. However... 2013 Eric Hosmer? Wow. The trade in your league should have been vetoed, no questions asked.

I agree with vetoing this one. This would make the whole league lopsided. Who would be dumb enough to do this trade? consider a new owner

Tell me about it. I actually picked Trout up in that league in like late May and then flipped him and Carlos Santana for Prince and Salty. Looking back, bad move. But I wasn't going to give Santana $27 next year to tag him as a keeper. And the way I saw it, I was trading a guy with a lot of potential for a star right now in Fielder. Backfired on me. Things happen I guess. And yes, I made the argument that Cano was enough by himself, too. Didn't matter.
In a keeper league, especially ones where players are forfeited for their picks, Trout is much more valuable than Cano IMO. The kid in my league gets to keep trout for 3 years and only has to give up last round picks.
