Keeper league help

Postby ryan.2429 » Wed Aug 22, 2012 8:26 pm

10 team head to head league where we can keep 8 as long as we want.

These are the players I have narrowed it down to.

1b Freeman
SS Machado
3b Lawrie
Of Kemp
Of Justin Upton
Of Cargo
Of Trout
Of Stanton

Sp Verlander
Sp Sale
Sp Moore

Thanks for the help.

Lawrie, Upton, and Freeman gotta go. Assuming you can be patient and wait for Machado to develop. He's gonna be a good one I think.

I would not keep Machado. He has proven nothing and is not worth the risk imo. As to who else to cut, between Lawrie, Freeman and Moore. Not a fan of Justin Upton either, but there are still believers out there and you should look to trade him with one of the others for an upgrade if possible imo.

Machado isn't even rosterable in a league this shallow. You could flip a coin between Sale and Moore. I like Justin Upton a lot. I look at this 'down' season as a great chance to buy low on him for 2013. If you could combine him & Stanton together to get someone like Miguel Cabrera I would be all over that. Then you can still keep Moore.

Thanks for the help everyone. I had already settled on 5 Trout Kemp Cargo Stanton and Verlander. I just cant decide on if keeping Moore and Sale is to big of a risk because I would be losing some good young position players and if I only keep one of the two which one has the most upside.
