Redraft, the downside is the # of innings he's got left this season. The good news is however many they are, they should be at an elite level. I think that's a steal, but I don't think much of OF generally.

I was reading that they plan on letting him go 210-215 which is probably close to being through the end of the season. You think the number is lower than that?

I've yet to read anything where the Mets have placed a hard inning cap. What I understand is that they're going to let him have a 'normal jump' from last season, where he threw 169.1 IP. I could see him going to 200 or so. Anything beyond that has gotta be considered gravy from a redraft fantasy standpoint.

They're going with a 6 man rotation so he should make it close to the end of the season. Just no more 2 start weeks

Posts like this are unnecessary and petty. I'm pretty sure all of us have been wrong at some point on the board. No reason to go back and call people out every time it turns out they're off base.

Pretty sure he left exactly because posts like this. People interpreted his matter of fact way of writing as condescending and basically drove him off with their butthurt responses when he didn't agree with them. Hopefully he comes back ad he was one of the best posters we had.

BOOM!

Mets general manager Sandy Alderson confirmed Monday afternoon that Matt Harvey has a partial UCL tear in his right elbow.
The diagnosis was made after Harvey was examined for forearm tenderness. The Mets haven't ruled out the possibility of Tommy John surgery, though they plan to wait a little while until the swelling subsides. Still, rehabbing this sort of injury rarely works. It's very possible that Harvey won't pitch again in the majors until 2015, which is frustrating news for the franchise

does this have any effect on how young pitchers are used?
