He has looked pretty good from a stuff standpoint but his results have been pretty mediocre this game, though if he gets out of this mess in the 7th his ERA will come out ok. Couple really nice defensive plays have saved him a run or maybe two.

I agree with that last kid, Kershaw should have started the ASG.

2.0 IP, 1 H, 3 K, 1 HBP of Cano. That's just about as perfect a start as I could have ever asked for.

Haters. All of them. Standing room only on the harvey hype train now.

Hope folks didn't "sell high" like everybody told them to. How is Matt Cain working out for everybody?

It certainly could have gone either way. I think Kershaw's classy endorsement of Harvey was a big factor. That along with the game being played at Citi Field and Harvey being the exciting new kid on the block with all the hype just made for the perfect storm. Kershaw's been doing it for a lot longer now, even though he's actually only a year older than Harvey, and unfortunately that makes him somewhat boring to a lot of fickle fans.

And Harvey does (and did at the time) have a higher WAR than Kershaw.

Redraft, the downside is the # of innings he's got left this season. The good news is however many they are, they should be at an elite level. I think that's a steal, but I don't think much of OF generally.
