DeAza replacement

Postby Pav » Wed Aug 22, 2012 3:02 pm

Looking for TB, AVG, OPS, HR, R, and RBI

Top 3 by preference by sets:
Murphy, Pagan, Colvin - Murphy is fine. But I can only play him against righties, but he's a great bench option.
Jennings, DeJesus, and maybe Kubel

Thanks!

David DeJesus (ChC - OF)
David Murphy (Tex - OF)
Desmond Jennings (TB - OF)
Angel Pagan (SF - OF)
Dewayne Wise (CWS - OF)
Carlos Gomez (Mil - OF)
Tyler Colvin (Col - 1B,OF)
Chris Young (Ari - OF)
Jason Kubel (Ari - OF)

I'd go with Jennings. He's a top prospect and he's finishing off the season on fire.

Hmm.......come to think of it...I would be afraid to go with Desmond Jennings (TB - OF) since he's too hot and cold.

What do you think about Tyler Colvin (Col - 1B,OF) or Bryan LaHair (ChC - 1B,OF) or Chris Young (Ari - OF)

If Desmond Jennings is hot and cold, then what is Bryan LaHair?

Jennings will not have a hard time having a stronger ROS than Colvin and Young. He'll trump them in my opinion.

Thanks but I don't think he will help in my league settings. He's a guy we are "hoping" if he can stay hot down the stretch. And he's already showing the same signs of slowing down...last week stats .179 AVG & .554 OPS..ranked 757 overall in our league.

LaHair? The dude is crushing the ball hard. Anyone who hits as hard at this guy has my attention and is going to start getting hits...but he's also a "maybe" watch list guy. Ye not getting the hits yet, but I was merely looking at opinions. I would not pick him up....of course :)

I think Colvin is enticing going 1B now and OF eligible FT
