I need a MI, help me choose

Postby MasterX1918 » Tue Aug 21, 2012 6:29 pm

I just lost Jemile Weeks so i'm looking to replace him with a similar player (2B/SS) or best available from any position. I'm thinking about replacing him with one of the following players, preferably a guy who can steal bags and hit for a good average but i'm really looking for anything and everything

Jose Tabata
Yunel Escobar
Gaby Sanchez
Carlos Pena
Raul Ibanez
Brennan Boesch
John Mayberry
James Loney
Tyler Greene
Darwin Barney
Steve Lombardozzi
Scott Moore
Omar Quintanilla
Pedro Ciriaco
Luis Valbuena
Paul Janish
Dewayne Wise
Will Venable
Eric Thames
Pedro Florimon
Jean Segura
Gordon Beckham
David DeJesus

I probably like Tyler Green the most. He has great potential if he keeps getting playing time. Great possible ROI. My next pick would be Ciriaco if he can keep getting AB's. He gets hits and swipes bags.

Any chance Aybar is available?
In counting stats leagues (such as 6x6,7x7) Darwin Barney is a solid producer. He's not going to get much but a fair amount of XBH and hit a solid clip its better than nothing. I don't see anything else much on this list. You've listed osme OF/CI/UTL...

However there is another choice Pedro Ciraco from the Red Sox. You have to choose him, why? He's only hitting 300 and stealing solid bases. Any kind of solid production like that out of your MI slot take it and run? If he's available. Barney would be a 2nd choice (better than a 0 type of option)
