I play it safe and take Headley, Cruz and Dickey. Forget closers. Altuve is not worth a keeper spot imo and catchers get hurt\are too inconsistent to bother with, esp in a 1 C league.

I don't trust Dickey at all considering his age, and his coming out of nowhere to dominate this late in his career. I would absolutely keep Santana though. Out of the guys outside of your "for sure" list, he's the one I like the most. Many will look at his numbers this season and have difficulty justifying it, but he has a lot going for him. For one, hes an OBP monster. Despite his batting average woes, he gets on base at a .367 clip, and that number will likely get pushed up into the .380 range next season and possibly higher. In addition, he's posted .273/.407/.545 triple slash rates after the all-star break, which looks a lot more like the player many thought he'd be this season that what he was in the first half. I think youre going to see something like 80 runs,30+ home runs, and 100 RBI out of him next year.

I'd say you play to the upside of Jennings, Headley and Cruz are sure fire keepers...Dickey's age concerns me as well...Paps, not worth it, nor is Altuve at this point...Intriguing prospects, but seems to me like you can redraft all of them at some point next season, so not worth a keeper spot, though I am sure you have some out there saying Profar will be this years Trout.

Santana for sure, he puts up good #s in an offensively shallow position. For the last 2 I'd go with either Cruz Scherzer or Dickey. I'd lean more towards Cruz and Dickey though. Thanks for the help with mine
