First place team has been trying to get my Bourn/Cueto all year. (he thinks he is far enough ahead in HR, RBI and is trying to tank and catch up in SB)
We have been going back and forth here for a little while. I countered with
My Bourn/Cueto/Fiers for his CarGo/CWilson/Quintana
He just rejected it and offered
My Bourn/Cueto/Peavy for his CarGo/CWilson/Dempster
What should I do?
1. Accept
2. Counter with Bourn/Cueto/Sheets for CarGo/CWilson/Quintana
3. Counter with Bourn/Cueto for CarGo/CWilson
I obviously get the better bat, I think CWilson is better than Cueto, but this year Cueto has been far superior. Other factors, I am scared with Dempster's move to the NL and I am a White Sox fan
Yahoo standard redraft 5 x 5 ROTO
R(4th - 63out) HR(4th-25out) RBI(2nd-43out) SB(4th-25out) AVG(1st- .05up) W(1st -5up) SV(5th- 22back) K(3rd-16back) ERA(6th-.34back) WHIP(8th-.1back)
Points for me can come with just a few points in power, speed, sv, and Ks. (I think I have myself situated to move up in saves)
My team:
C Yadier Molina (StL - C)
1B Paul Goldsmith (Ari-1B)

Util Tony Rizzo (ChC-1B)

I'd accept that deal. Don't worry about the bottom player on your end of the deal (Dempster). You're getting the player you want in Cargo, CJ I believe will turns things around and Dempster can't pitch this awful the rest of the way. Don't dwell on the little parts of the trade and accept.
