Nelson Cruz is an expiring contract on the last place team. Should I make one of these deals to help my team down the stretch? Currently in 2nd place in this h2h league.

Deal A.) Give Lincecum and Greg Holland and receive Nelson Cruz

Deal B.) Give Hanson and Greg Holland and receive Nelson Cruz

12 Team H2H DAILY LEAGUE with 6 Keepers Season to Season, each for 3 years max. * means a keeper entering this season

I'd go with the Hanson and Holland for Cruz. If the braves stick with a 6-man rotation, that could mean trouble for Hanson. If he pitches poorly against the Dodgers (who are hungry to be in 1st, especially since Melk Man is gone), he may even pose his spot.

If you could do either of these deals, I would. They are somewhat lopsided. Closers don't typically carry a ton of value since they are 1 category only, and both SPs are medicore at best this season (I'd argue Lincecum has been awful and if not for anchoring on his past success, he'd be waiver wire fodder in most leagues).

That said, I'm not sure why the other guy would do this trade. I can't see any of the players you're offering him falling into his top 6 keepers, so he's basically giving up a tradeable asset for nothing. If I were him, I'd be looking to shop Cruz for a keeper. However, if he'll do either deal, take it.

I would consider the Hanson portion of it, but it depends on what OF you are replacing Cruz with.
