Trout/Harper Blockbuster WHIR

In a keeper league. Which of these two scenarios would you rather have? (You can keep up to 5 players.)

Assume that each player has great draft pick position if kept, except for Upton whose round seems somewhat borderline due to his off year.

Miguel Cabrera (with potential to keep 2 more years)
Bryce Harper (with potential to keep 13 more years)
Carlos Gonzalez (with potential to keep 3 more years)
Mark Trumbo (with potential to keep 14 more years)
Curtis Granderson (with potential to keep 7 more years)

OR

Mike Trout (with potential to keep 14 more years)
Justin Upton (with potential to keep 5 more years) *Upton counts for a 4th Round draft pick next year if kept, then 3rd Round, and so on ...
Carlos Gonzalez (with potential to keep 3 more years)
Mark Trumbo (with potential to keep 14 more years)
Curtis Granderson (with potential to keep 7 more years)

I'm being offered Trout for Harper/Cabrera or Trout for Harper/Gonzalez. My gut tells me to take Cargo for 3 years instead of Miggy for 2.

Since it is a 2-for-1, note the worthy replacement keeper, Justin Upton, who is my 6th best keeper on my current roster.

Thoughts? Do you do it?

Yes. I like the trade. You are betting that Trout outperforms Harper for the next 14 years. I think that is a good bet. He has shown that once in a generation talent.
In terms of the second part tough call. Miggy is easily top 2 player for the next few years. CarGo is top ten player for the next couple years. Miggy outperforms CarGo, but you get that extra year.

I would definitely do the Trout for Harper/Gonzo. Everyone has always been so high on Harper, but I've ALWAYS said that Trout is by far a better player. Look at the difference in AVG, HRs, and Steals. They are not even comparable. Do ANYTHING you can to get Trout for that many years.

Wow! This is golden having Trout that long. I like making this with Gonzo in there.
