Wandy Rodriguez!!

Postby Pav » Wed Aug 15, 2012 10:15 pm

I've been patient all season with this guy, just as it's been suggested to me.

Doing badly against the Dodgers at home is a bad sign.

I just can't take it anymore. I have 2 weeks left then playoffs. And I need to prepare
the roster best position for it. Playoffs are: Week 22, 23, 24

Should I look to add another SP below RP? And who? Thanks.

I like Cobb, but, between all of those pitchers (and your bench pitchers), it all depends on upcoming matchups (except for Lucas Harrell - I wouldn't touch any Houston pitchers). Check out the matchups, and go with them.

I agree with Cobb, he's a solid guy to have. Also the inner jays fan in me says Villanueva is a decent pick up, he's been playing pretty well especially considering the state of disaster the team is in right now. Either one to me is good for you, probably Cobb first though

help please? http://www.fantasybaseballcafe.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=26&t=451803

I like Chen, Corbin, Niese and Cobb.

Although, the matchup for next week tells the difference

Chen: @ Tex, vs Tor - perhaps not
Corbin: vs Mia, vs SD - hmm
Niese: vs Col, vs Hou - not vs Col
Cobb: vs KC, vs Oak - looks good

Hmm...looks like Cobb and Niese, but Cobb could be bumped in the rotation down the stretch once Niemann comes back from the DL. So, not sure if he will be the best rest of season option.

Perhaps I lean towards Niese. He has a 65% DOM/9% DIS spread, so he has limited the blowups pretty well this season also. Although, it seems it's been every 3 games. So, I ponder....

I can't afford anymore blowups. I am last in ER earned runs in this league.

I can't grab Niese till Monday. Who know's if he's still there. :)

Until then, I came across a few more SP's on FA.

Anyone you like better over Niese and Mike Fiers?

FA
Matt Harvey (NYM - SP)
Freddy García (NYY - SP,RP)
Jon Lester (Bos - SP)

Has to be Lester and Fiers for me. Harvey is pretty intriguing, but I wouldn't take him over those 2.

You have to get Lester, he'll turn things around just when you need him. Best upside for all pitchers you listed, have to take a flier.

Harvey might be a two-starter next week (Hou/Col at home), so he's really interesting, yes.

Lester sucks for Saturday (NYY) but then he's got KC next week, so I like him a lot after Saturday.
