He admits to juicing ... prior to juicing he had never been keeper worthy let alone an A.S. MVP. I think considering he is done this year...and may IMO will probably return the the real Melkman everyone remembers from NY and ATL...the only way I don't drop him is if I have a spot to absolutely waste until it is time to declare your keepers and if you have to do it soon..I would stay far far away.

1) He didn't test positive for the sauce. He tested positive for "testosterone" which could be a hormone enhancer found in a supplement at GNC that MLB declared to be illegal.
2) These "performance enhancing drugs" don't necessarily enhance your performance. It's not like some bonehead on the street can take steroids and all of a sudden become a professional hitter. All they do is have the potential of making you stronger, perhaps enhancing your performance in the weight room. They don't do anything for your ability to hit a baseball.
There is an argument for these drugs having an impact on power hitters, because when they do make contact, the ball just goes farther because they have more power. But considering Melky isn't much of a power hitter, the only thing I would expect is a slight dip in his power numbers. I think everything else will stay relatively the same.
So I'd definitely consider keeping him. 23 keepers, Melky's gotta be one of them.
