Huge news. Andrew Baggarly of CSNBayArea.com hears that the test happened around the All-Star break and has been hung up in the appeals process since. The 50-game suspension will keep him sidelined for the rest of the regular season. It's a tough blow to the Giants' playoff hopes and will have a big impact on Cabrera's potential payday in free agency this offseason. The 28-year-old was batting .346/.390/.516 with with 11 home runs, 60 RBI and a .906 OPS in 113 games played this season.

i dunno, it's not like he's hitting for power. does testosterone have a positive effect on BABIP?

in all seriousness though I don't really know what kind of affects testosterone has on the body, it's mostly just strength and endurance right?
