My team is so very banged up, but I'd like to open up a roster spot with some DL guys coming back. But is this the right deal to make? Currently in 2nd place, 4 games back of 1st.

He gives me: BJ Upton
I give him: Manny Machado and Tommy Hanson

Im not too big on Upton. I think you should wait and see if Machado has anymore big games so you could sell him off at a higher price, especially since its a keeper league.Also, I actually wouldn't be too against dropping Napoli if there are any decent guys on the WW.

Overall, give it a few more days, at least until Hanson has his start. Hope that he does well, so that you could get a better player than Upton.

I wouldn't make this deal. I am not a big fan of Upton and I don't see you getting much value out of this deal.

I wouldn't do it, not high on Upton either. I just dropped Napoli in my league said don't see much value from him for the rest of the year.

machado just might end up being a decent keeper on another team so id hold off on this trade....upton has no major upside he is not worth it....i would def try to shop machado right now though(unless in the next few days he explodes)

You would have to pay me to take BJ Upton. There are a number of BJ Upton defenders around here but I frankly have never understood why he continues to get drafted in the top 12 rounds.

Upton has 5 homers and 7 steals in the past month, however his batting average hurts.

I think you might be able to score something better for this pair. Someone may pay more since it's a keeper league.
