So it was one thing when Napoli had a strain and would be gone for no more than the 15 days on DL....but now that he is admitting that his ankle sprain last year never healed...and he just tried to play through it. Which may have led to this new injury. Regardless, both he and the rangers are talking about how he will not rush back, and it could be 2 weeks or it could be ROS.
As Ruiz is also potentially out for ROS, and there are no estimates for return at all...I am starting to really worry about that position.
I have some time...as I have the playoffs clinched (3 weeks away)...but now that I know that Napoli is not just slumping all year but is hurt, I wonder if he will really be better than the following F/A:
Wilin Rosario
Jarrod Saltalamcchia
AJ Ellis
Salvador Perez
Michael McKenry
Russell Martin
Rosario and Salty have had better season as a whole...but the last 30 days it has been McKenry, Jaso, Martin, Perez, Rosario.
I am thinking Rosario...but not totally sure. What do you think?
Leave a link....
Thanks,
