I am in a 12-team H2H Keeper. I was in 1st place for most of the season, but now I'm un 4th and I'm sinking fast. I really need a bat and pitching boost, and I may be able to do this deal. Should I? BTW I would keep neither of the players I receive so they'd strictly be rentals.
I Give:
Beckett
4th round pick next season
I Get:
Matt Holliday
Josh Johnson
My Roster now:
C - M Montero
1st - Rizzo
2nd - Kinsler
3rd - E Chavez
SS - Castro
OF - Kemp
OF - Ethier
OF - Bruce
Util - Reddick
Bench: Ortiz (DL), Lawrie (DL)
SPs:
Lester
Wainwright
Bumgarner
Harrison
Bauer
Straily
Hanson (DL)
Cashner (DL)
RPs:
Papelbon
Bell
Holland
Perkins

Yes, Beckett is arguably droppable so that is an amazing haul even if it costs a 4th rounder.

Oh my God, the kid now is standing firm on a 3rd round pick instead of a 4th round. I don't think this is worth it because I would not keep either Holliday or JJ. Thoughts?

i know this may not be very helpful, but it depends on what you can get in the 3rd/4th round. i lean toward doing the deal, because Holliday is the best player, even considering who you may get in the 3rd/4th round next year. almost always do the deal if you are getting the best player involved.

I would make this trade, even if it is for a couple of rentals. This will be the push that you need.
Help with mine please?
