1st post, question for the board concerning my team in signature.
Who would you keep from my team as of right now? We're allowed to keep 9 players. I'm having a hard time after Trout, Hamilton, Gonzalez, Longoria and Trumbo.
Thanks for any advice
Trout+Trumbo=Winning AL ONLY • 8 Teams • 9 Keep H2H • Year 1
C Perez 1B A Gonzalez 2B Kipnis 3B Longoria OF Trout, Hamilton, Trumbo UTIL Butler, Gordon, Reddick, Joyce P Greinke, Morrow, Lester, J Johnson
Welcome to the board. I'm new too. This is my first response. If I were you I would keep Gonzalez, Kipnis, Longoria, Trout, Hamilton, Butler,Greinke, Morrow, and Johnson. It's a nice balance of pitching and hitting. I think Trumbo, Gordon, Reddick, and Joyce are good but not keepers. Perez will probably be a keeper in a few years, but right now I think you will be able to draft him if you want him again. I don't see him being a first round draft pick.

I agree with this, except I would keep Lester instead of Morrow

The best there is, the best there was, and the best there ever will be!
I would definitely add Kipnis and Perez. Perez could give you a nice avg for catcher, which opens up other strategies on your other players (to be fair, I think I'm higher on Perez than most people). Kipnis is a bit of a risk after his second half collapse, but if you think he can return to his first half numbers he's great.
After that, I think you have to keep at least two pitchers, so Morrow and Johnson.
Last spot I'd do Butler, but if you're a gambling man Lester is (high) risk/reward.
