My: Verlander, Harper and picks in the 3rd, 7th and 18th round

His: Braun, Harvey and picks in the 12th, 15th and 16th round

If it was just your Verlander for his Braun straight up, then yes any day of the week. But losing Harper and your picks in 3rd and 7th round, I probably wouldn't do it. This will hurt you next year. Only question is whether this will put you over the top this year.

I think it hurts you a lot for next year making it not worth it. I assume since you only get to keep 2 playeres that if you did pull the trigger then you would keep Braun and Kinsler for next year... So losing Harper is nothing. Verlander is still the best pitcher in baseball though and you losing him AND your 3rd and 7th for next year is too much. I would just keep Verlander and Kinsler.

I agree with the other two posts, this trade hurts you too much for the future. And while you have a solid staff now, many of your pitchers are inconsistent and having a stud like Verlander on your team is something I'd want to still have for years to come.
