Peavy on FA...who to drop? 100% WHIR!

Hey all.....just noticed J.Peavy is on the FA and was wondering if I grab him for ROS? If so then who do I drop? I was thinking McCarthy or McDonald but not sure which one? McCarthy has been great but on the DL every min and McDonald has been great but has slipped off the last several weeks and I'm not sure if this is just a down period or will he suck even more down the stretch? Or do I stay put and don't grab Peavy? Thanks in advance and post your post if you need help....100% WHIR!!!

As much as I hate to say it, I think McDonald is the one to drop here. McDonald for Peavy is def a good move.

I would drop either for Peavy. I know McDonald has been worse, so wouldn't fault you for dropping him, but the Pirates have some of the easiest matchups the last month of the season. I think I would err on the side of McDonald getting back together instead of McCarthy getting hurt.

I agree with the majority. McDonald sucks all of a sudden and I would much, much, much rather have Peavy. There's no question.

I picked up McDonald at the beginning of the year and have been high on him all season, but just dropped him this past week. I was torn because I loved his match up at home against SD, and what does he do? GETS LIT UP!!!

Say good-bye to his lack of control and say hello to Mr. Peavy.
