Return to Draft, Trade, Keeper and Waivers Questions

I might have the chance to trade Mike Napoli for Brian McCann straight up. Napoli has pretty good keeper value and can be kept in the 8th round next year. 7 Keepers so that is pretty good value. B-Mac has no keeper value really since he was drafted so high.
This is a no brainer for me, right?
I could also potentially get Carlos Santana, but I like B-Mac's team and potential more this season honestly. (I might be slightly bias'd)
WHIR just leave a link

Thanks for the help on mine. I clarified the post. If you have a chance this year, take Carlos Santana. If you can't get him, I'd still take McCann.

Thanks for the help on mine.
Oddly enough the player who has been the coldest all season has been the hottest lately - CSantana. You didn't mention where he would get drafted as a keeper though (I imagine high).
FYI - Rangers just put Napoli on DL

Yeah Carlos Santana and B-Mac were both drafted high in our league, Napoli has good keeper value because I drafted him really late last year and ended up keeping him.

Txs for the reply on my post.....
I see this as Napoli and McCann have about the same STATS this season.....personally I prefer McCann but just slightly and with Napoli on the DL now i prefer McCann even more but.....
I would rank Santana quite a bit higher than both and he has been his old self and on fire lately so.....
If you can get Santana then I would do that in a heartbeat....if not then McCann is the way to go....
Good luck M8!

I like McCann better than both. I am not sold on Santana, although he is better than Napoli (I just droppped him in my league!). Santana seems to be a typical, developing young guy--flashes of dominance with periods of bad play--but in the long run he should smooth out those ups-and-downs.

I also like McCann best out of all of them. However, this also depends on who your other keepers are. Napoli isn't too far behind McCann, and if you can use his bat a keeper going forward (ie: don't have too many other big bats to keep) I might be slightly more inclined to hold on to Napoli for that reason.
Here's mine:

That's exactly how I'm feeling. The only downside I see to owning McCann is that he sits a lot, mostly because he plays in the NL and never has a chance to DH.
