Napoli has been disappointing all year, so I am glad, in a way, to get rid of him. Who should I add to replace him? Here are the options:
Jarrod Saltalamacchia Jonathan Lucroy Alex Avila
I leaning toward Avila or Lucroy; Salty hasn't been that good recently.
Thanks in advance.
ESPN, h2h each, 12 team, 4 RP max, daily roster changes. Cats: standard 5x5 plus OPS, QS. Non-keeper. I stream 1-2 SP weekly.
C Mike Napoli 1B Paul Goldschmidt 2B Jason Kipnis 3B Chase Headley SS Jose Reyes OF Michael Bourn OF Adam Jones OF Giancarlo Stanton UTIL Jay Bruce Bench Joey Votto (DL), Jose Bautista (DL)
SP Adam Wainwright SP Roy Halladay SP Johnny Cueto SP stream spot RP Craig Kimbrel RP Kenley Jansen RP Tyler Clippard RP Ryan Cook
I am in the identical situation I just added Alex Avila
Hold on to Napoli until he returns or drop him and add back ichiro/swisher/ a pitcher
C McCann 1B Pujols 2B Kipnis 3B Beltre SS I. Desmond OF Justin Upton Fowler J. Heyward DH Ortiz UT Granderson BN Altuve BN Prado BN Laroche BN Heyward DL Reyes DL Beachy Gio Gonzalez Wainwright Matt Moore Cobb Fister Garza Mo Casey Jansenn A Bailey
My issue is that my DL spots are already full with Votto & Bautista. Plus Kipnis may be out for a while with his necj injury. So I am looking at 4 of my starters all on the DL by the end of the weekend. I HAVE to drop someone, and since Kipnis isn't "officially" on the DL, Napoli makes the most sense. Plus, he has been SO disappointing...I can get a very comparable replacement for him from the WW. I am leaning toward Avila as I type...
