Encarnacion for Granderson WHIR

Postby germani40 » Fri Aug 10, 2012 10:30 pm

I got offered his Encarnacion for my Granderson 16 keepers each year. 12 teams R/HR/RBI/AVG/OPS/NSB W/L/K/ERA/WHIP/NSV. I am 6 back from a playoff spot right now with 4 weeks to play after this one. Thoughts on this deal? Im torn on it because Granderson has been good for me for the past 2 years but Encarnacion is having an amazing season.

I'd lean toward keeping Granderson. You've got pretty good depth at both corner infield positions, and Encarnacion came out of nowhere this year. Hard to say if he can keep it up/repeat or if this is just a career year.

I agree with this. After one breakout year, there are so many ways he can go. Granderson is more of a lock so I'd keep him.

I agree with these guys...I know this is not the first BlueJay to pop on the scene out of nowhere to have a great season...and if he follows suit it could be a nice trade...IF

I could not make this trade straight up.

Little help?

Thanks for the help on mine.

I'd go with Granderson. EE is having a great season, but like everyone else said, he was a non-entity in fantasy baseball before this year. Granderson has been a top OF for a few years now. I do believe that EE has good potential, but you would be buying high right now.
