Konerko and Ellsbury for Fielder in a keeper?(WHIR)

10 team, shallow, H2H leaue with 8x8 cats, 7 keepers per year with no restrictions, currently in 6th place in the playoff hunt.

I have been offered HIS Paul Konerko and Jacoby Ellsbury for my Prince Fielder. What do you guys think?

I don't really like this trade for your team because I don't see anyone I'd be willing to drop after the 2 for 1. Also, Konerko is having concussion issues right now while Ellsbury will take awhile to get his game back.

Cant take it, if Konerko was fine itd be a great deal because Konerkos production the past couple years has been right with Fielder but with the concern and Ellsbury's bad year id stand pat, keep talking with the guy though

Yeah Ellsbury having a bad year is the biggest factor for me

Yeah I wouldn't take this deal either. Plus it would be hard to decide who to drop on your team anyways.

I think I take this. This is 2 big pieces for 1 big piece. And I think that Ellsbury is a better keeper than Prince overall, so then you get him plus Konerko basically for free. If for nothing else, you can sit on one of them and trade the other for more pitching depth.

I've seen people mention that Ellsbury is having a bad year as well as Konerko, what about prince? The production is way down this year. 19 bombs going into mid August? At this point he's usually right up there with the league leader, if not being the league leader himself.

If you decide to make the deal, swisher would be the first to go for me. Then maybe Lance Lynn.

Yeah Prince might be a little down in power this season, but he is still batting .312 and has 81 RBI's and 62 R's. Plus he has 3 HR's in the last 7 games, so his power might be coming back around down the stretch.
