Should I take this trade for Matt Holliday?

Postby anasazigb » Wed Aug 08, 2012 5:12 pm

18 Team H2H Leauge, I'm in 8th place right now (the final playoff spot), and 9th place is 10 games back of me. (im actually playing him this week and i am beating him 12-1 right now in the categories.)

I Get: Matt Holliday, Geraldo Parra
I Give: Alex Gordon, Troy Tulowitzki, Allen Craig.

The guy who offered me this trade is in 1st place. Should I pull the trigger? Or should i try to switch Parra out for a pitcher? (hes got, Vogelsong, Wei-Yin Chen, Chris Tillman, Casey Janssen.

categories are .avg, hrs, rbis, runs, sb, obp, slg.

after many trades this season, ive already been able to acquire Miggy Cabrera to go along with Billy Butler and CarGo, whom i drafted.

opinions are welcome please :D

I would look to see if you could get a piece other than Parra. The potential of Gordon, Tulo, and Craig greatly outweighs that of Holliday and Parra.

I agree. Parra is basically useless, particularly in a league that uses slugging. You should absolutely swap Parra for a pitcher, try for Vogelsong.
