Kipnis Value WHIR

I was offered Jason Kipnis today from his stingy owner. He wants Kinsler. Yahoo 5x5 w/OBP Keeper league.

A player can only be kept for three years unless franchised. Only three players can be franchised.

Kipnis has full eligibility.

Kinsler has been kept for the max time and I was considering franchising him along with Wright and Cutch. This means that I would have to trade/release Felix and Holliday at the end of the year.

I have read numerous reports about Kipnis being the better of the two 2B, but the 0 HR in 36 games has be a bit worried. He is looking more like his .260/15/80/20 projections than a top 2-3 2B.

I know Kipnis' value is as low as it probably will get especially in this format. Kinsler's rank today 32, Kipnis 66.

Thoughts?

So you can no longer keep Kinsler, and you would be able to keep Kipnis for the next 3 years? Then I would def make this trade, looks like a great move for you.

I can keep Kinsler, but he'd have to be franchised. Not a big deal, just trying to make room for longevity. I feel if I trade Kinsler I get Kipnis and Konerko and that might put me over the top for the remainder of the season.

Trade for kipinis....keep him...and the u can franchise felix

Im not completely sold on Kipnis but I think its worth it if it means you dont have to franchise kinsler and can keep Felix then

Rest of season I'd rather have Kinsler. Over his last 45 games or so Kipnis is batting under .230 which is huge cause for concern. As for next year and years after...with the way the Rangers' offense has been ineffective at times, I would go with Kipnis.
