I had the last waiver and I put in a waiver claim to drop Ludwick for Straily just in case I got lucky, and I happened to get it. I had just added Ludwick off the FA about a week ago, and I didn't drop Viciedo because he has very good keeper value in our league.
I feel like this was an obvious move for me since I need the pitching help, but now I am a little short-handed in offense until Ortiz comes back. Unless Viciedo can get on a hot streak again. So this was the right move to make wasnt it?

I used my #4 priority waiver on Straily. Im hurting for some consistant arms so I hope he's the real deal! The only problem is that Brett Anderson and AJ Griffin will eventually be back. What that means for Straily? Who knows.
I love the move and while recently I thought that Straily would be optioned at some point soon thereafter his callup, I am now much more certain that he remains in the rotation.
AJ Griffin losing 10 MPH on a FB is a serious concern and I almost garantee that he is headed toward shoulder surgery.
Straily could be a very solid add and increase value to an already strong rotation regardless of split home or away.
